IFM offers several workshops and seminars to assist Church Pastors, Ministers, Trustees, Deacons, and laity in managing the Church’s finance and administrative matters. Relevant and timely tax and practical procedures are discussed and instructed during our workshops and seminars. Qualified, talented, and anointed professional Christians are used to teach and minister to the attendees with biblical concepts and practical knowledge and experience. Power Church Plus Training

The Power Church Plus classes are designed to provide basic and practical understanding of the functionalities of the software. As authorized consultants for Power Church Plus software for over 15 years, participants will not only gain working knowledge of the program, but will have valuable insight as to how the software can be used effectively in their environment. Clergy Compensation

This is one the most popular workshops conducted by IFM. The key presenter is the President of IFM – Abraham Alston Jr. CPA. The workshop will provide insight to preparing clergy compensation packages, board responsibilities, housing allowance, reasonable compensation, and much more. Attendees will be equipped to prepare a clergy compensation package in compliance with IRS regulations.

Legal Matters & Church Governance

This valuable and timely workshop will answer questions regarding Church By-Laws, articles of incorporation, implementing policies and procedures, and working with Board & Committees. Relevant and timely legal issues that the Church and nonprofit organizations faced with on a daily basis. The Church must be aware of procedures and legal proof their operation and minimize law suits, legal fees, and penalties. The workshop will also discuss the importance of Church Governance to help manage and govern the Church. The Church structure and Board of Trustee’s responsibilities and duties will be discussed and identified with recommended procedures.

Trustee Matters

This annual workshop informs Trustees, Deacons, Pastors, and administration of Churches on the latest changes in tax laws pertaining to religious industry along with the critical and fundamental functions used to operate a Church in compliance with IRS regulations. Topics such as board responsibilities, organization structure, year-end filing requirements, operating procedures, etc. This workshop will position church leaders to begin the New Year position for effective operation.
